Ministry to Children and Families

Why do we minister to Children & Families?

Raising your children to be rock-solid in their faith and full of joy requires a personal relationship with Jesus. We’re here to help you as you lead your children toward a vibrant faith in God. Our Sunday School ministry is dedicated to supporting your family, from the youngest to the oldest.

What are the age groups for Children’s ministry?

At New Life Hutto Church, we provide a safe, fun, and dynamic multi-sensory environment for children ages 4-11 years old to be taught principles from God’s Word in an age-appropriate manner. Our hope and commitment are to provide each child with the tools they need to build their own personal relationship with Jesus and connect with other children their age in a positive and encouraging environment.

When does the Children's Ministry take place?

Our Children’s Church group and Youth Group class meet on Sunday Mornings for ministry, specifically tailored to children and youth. Our Children’s Church group meets at 11:15 a.m. immediately following the morning worship service at 11:00 a.m.

What is taught in the Children’s Ministry?

Each Children’s Church service includes an object lesson based on a Bible story with interactive crafts and games that reinforce the lesson. In addition, youth group classes focus on building a foundational knowledge of the Bible and a personal relationship with Christ through practical, interactive lessons that engage young people at their level and life stage.

Growing with the Children’s Ministry

Opportunities to connect outside of regular Sunday School class include typical age-based children’s parties and seasonal children’s skits and dramas, along with monthly youth group events.

Why we Give.

Why it Matters.

John 3:16 tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave …” This declaration isn’t simply an evangelical promotional slogan or an effective witnessing tool. It’s a revelation of the heart of God and a summation of the meaning of the Christian life. If there’s one thing the New Testament teaches us, it’s that God is love and that those of us who claim to believe in Him ought to love one another as He has loved us (1 John 4:8, 11). And the message of John 3:16 is that love gives.
