Why is prayer powerful?

Prayer is simply talking with God and talking with God about your cares, needs, struggles, family, marriage, and anything else in and on your heart.
It is the will of God for us to constantly be communicating with Him and making our requests known to Him. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Philippians 4:6-7).
Prayer is a crucial part of our spiritual walk with God, and it helps us stay connected with Him.
When we pray, God can move on our behalf to change situations in our lives, our families, our cities, and even our nation.
Prayer can bring about deliverance from our struggles, provide healing to us and others, and get us in tune with God’s will for our lives.

When is prayer?

The church meets for prayer before every service on Sunday and Wednesday.

Why prayer

Prayer always has and always will be a foundational pillar at New Life Hutto, for we have a mandate to reach the people of North Austin Metro and to let them know of the love of Christ. When examining the life of Jesus, we see that He consistently draws away to be alone to pray. He was in constant communion and communication through prayer during His life here on Earth. This is God's design for each of us that we are constantly in communion with Him. This kind of communion is available to every believer through prayer, intercession, and the Word.
