Ministry To Youth

Why is teen ministry important to us?

At New Life Hutto, we understand the vital importance of teens building a healthy peer group and the role of godly mentors that teens and their parents trust to support their spiritual growth. The teen years mark a critical transitional stage in life, and God uses times of change to bring significant growth.

Investing in our youth is necessary to grow the body of Christ. Teaching them in the church will prepare them for a future and help others who come after us. That’s where the Youth Ministries staff plays an important role.

When does the teen ministry meet?

Our Youth Staff, alongside parents, help teenagers know God intimately, read His Word accurately, share and defend their faith, serve others, and develop deep relationships.

Our weekly Youth Group class meets at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays to foster these vital connections through dynamic and interactive discussion groups and Bible lessons tailored towards teens ages 12-17 years of age.

New Life Hutto Ministry Staff

Our staff has experience working with teens and is committed to personal spiritual growth, modeling Biblical principles to teens, and partnering with parents and family members to encourage each teen to reach their fullest potential.

Our staff heads up Youth Group class for Sunday School, plans events, and chaperones youth events.

For more information on qualifications for our youth staff and volunteer opportunities, please contact us by phone or email.

Monthly Service & Ministry Activities

Our monthly social events give teens a chance to build strong friendships within the youth group. We meet the first Friday of every month for a time of games, food and fun, and unique activities designed to promote bonding and healthy social skills to provide an environment where your teen can grow spiritually and emotionally.

Quarterly Youth Rallies

Once a quarter, there is an opportunity to travel to another area church with the youth group to meet for a youth-focused service. This is a great opportunity for young people to connect with other youth in the area and experience a worship service geared specifically to young people.

Holiday Youth Convention

Our Holiday Youth Convention is an annual event that provides worship and social experiences held Thursday and Friday before Easter Sunday. The Annual Holiday Youth Convention is held in San Marcos, TX, and is an exciting state-wide worship, preaching, and social event geared to youth 12-18 years of age.

Please contact us if you are interested in your teen attending the event.

Summer Youth Camp

Week-long overnight summer camps where students can meet other like-minded youth happen in August every year. Our summer camps include dynamic evening services, daily devotion times, outdoor and sports activities as well as music-based activities.

Students stay in a dorm with chaperones during the camp, and it is a life-changing experience for many young people to deepen their walk with God.

If you’re interested in your teen attending or assisting with chaperoning at the Summer Camp, please contact us.

Why we Give.

Why it Matters.

John 3:16 tells us that “God so loved the world that He gave …” This declaration isn’t simply an evangelical promotional slogan or an effective witnessing tool. It’s a revelation of the heart of God and a summation of the meaning of the Christian life. If there’s one thing the New Testament teaches us, it’s that God is love and that those of us who claim to believe in Him ought to love one another as He has loved us (1 John 4:8, 11). And the message of John 3:16 is that love gives.
