Prayer isn't a program at New Life Hutto — it's who we are. Before every Sunday service, our church gathers to pray. During the week, Pastor Bernhard prays over every request that comes in. We don't just add your name to a list and move on. We bring your need before God with the same urgency we'd bring our own.
Whatever you're walking through — a health crisis, a broken relationship, a decision you can't make, fear you can't shake — you don't have to carry it alone. Let us stand with you in faith.
"Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16
Your request is kept confidential. Only Pastor Bernhard and the church leadership will see it. You can share as much or as little detail as you want — God already knows the situation, and sometimes all we need to write is "please pray."
When your prayer request comes in, it goes directly to Pastor Bernhard. He prays over every request personally — usually the same day. If it's urgent or you've asked for follow-up, he'll reach out directly by phone or email.
On Sundays before service, our church gathers for a time of prayer. Without sharing private details, your need is lifted up by our whole congregation. We believe there's power when God's people agree together in prayer.
Some things are better shared face to face. After every service, Pastor Bernhard is available at the altar for personal prayer. You don't need an appointment or a reason that feels "big enough." If you need prayer, come up. That's what we're here for.
